TU VI UNG DUNG CHART has 2 part. The center square called HEAVENLY
AREA. Twelve small squares around called GROUNDLY AREA.
HEAVENLY AREA is place that we write a person’s name, day, month,
year, hour of birth, 5 element yin-yang of birth year, frame in order to create
a TU VI UNG DUNG CHART.
GROUNDLY AREA contains 12 small squares around HEAVENLY AREA. A
small square, we call a section. These sections are places that we write stars
which attached with person’s fate. These twelve sections are called: TY, SUU,
DAN, MAO, THIN, TI, NGO, MUI, THAN, DAU, TUAT, HOI. The section: TY, DAN, THIN,
NGO, THAN, TUAT is called yang section
(+).The section: SUU, MAO, TI, MUI, DAU, HOI is called yin section (-). (Image-1).
As a rule: Each a yin section stands behind a yang section.
Each section contains different information. It depends on day,
month, year and hour of birth of each person. For this person, TY section
contains friend relationship, with others TY section contains sibling or spouse
relationship…We find with a certain chart bellow.
Tu
Vi Chart is constructed based on five elements:
Gender,
year of birth, month of birth, day of birth and hour of birth (all according to
Lunar Calendar). Based on the five elements listed above, the total
possible number of different Tu Vi charts is 525,600. (Although the total
days in a Lunar Year is only 350 days, there are leap years which make up for
the total days. Therefore, 60 Lunar Years equal to 60 years in Solar Calendar)

Tu Vi Chart is comprised of 12 SECTION (PLACE/POSITION):
1. ”MỆNH” – SECTION OF SELF
Represents
the characteristic (personality) of oneself. His/her achievements or failures
in life. MENH is a person’s will, ambition, viewpoint; his/her ideology…
For
example:

His/her personality is humorous, serious, patience, shy, determined…
2. ”PHỤ MẪU” – SECTION OF PARENTS
Represents
the relationship between the Self and his/her Parents.
For
example:

Whether a person is content with his/her parents and vice versa; whether he/she
receive support from his/her parents or not….
3. ”PHÚC ĐỨC” – SECTION OF ANCESTRAL BLESSING AND RELATIVES
The
blessing from ancestor that one was born with; also represents the relatives
from one's family and one's spouse's family.

Your grandfather was famous. When he died, many people still respected and
mentioned him. As his grandson, many people also know you, and respect you. That
is the benefit from the fame of your grandfather. It is the blessing from
ancestor.

Whether you have support or troubles from relatives besides your own family.
4. ”ĐIỀN TRẠCH” – SECTION OF PROPERTY:
Represents
the condition of one's property and real estate.
For
example:
Whether
you have your own house or have to live with others (parents, siblings);
whether your house is big or small, in urban area or rural area; when shall you
have your first house or will you lose it; etc.
5. ”QUAN LỘC” – SECTION OF CAREER:
Represents
one's social status, career achievements or failures, hobbies, etc.
6. ”NÔ BỘC” – SECTION OF FRIENDSHIP/ALLIANCE/ASSISTANT:
Represents
one's stock of friends, subordinates and the relationships with them (good or
bad).
7. ”THIÊN DI” – SECTION OF MOBILITY:
Represents
one's relationship with others in the society, one's acquaintances and his/her
well-being (or unwell) while traveling.
8. ”TẬT ÁCH” – SECTION OF ILLNESS/KARMA:
Represents
one's trend of sickness or karma that shall affect the Self.

ILLNESS: stomach-ache, head-ache, neuropathy….

If you use the characteristics and chance given in Menh and other Section with
bad intentions, the karma is presented in Tat Ach.

If you are born with talent of a doctor, your karma is curing people, if you
are born with talent of a scientist, your karma is experimenting and exploring
new subjects, etc.
9. ”TÀI BẠCH” – SECTION OF FINANCE:
Represents
one's financial status, income and outcome, habit of spending money.
10. ”TỬ TỨC” – SECTION OF OFFSPRING:
Represents
the relationship of one's offspring (children and grandchildren) with the
Self.
11. ”PHU THÊ” – SECTION OF SPOUSE:
Represents
one's spouse and relationship with the Self.
12. ”HUYNH ĐỆ” – SECTION OF SIBLINGS:
Represents
the relationship of one's siblings with the Self.
AND A SPECIAL SECTION “THÂN”
For
example in the Chart above, in “PHU THÊ” SECTION OF SPOUSE. You will see “PHU
THÊ – THÂN”). This means the That Section is assigned in the Phu The Section.
Depends on each person ( hour of birth), Than could be adhered to one of the
followings:

-THÂN”(Self) : 23h-01h and 11h -13h ( If you was borned from 23h to 01h (or
11h-13h), then “MỆNH – THÂN”)
“PHÚC
ĐỨC – THÂN ” (Ancestor Blessing): 01h-03h and 13h – 15h
“QUAN
LỘC – THÂN ” (Career): 03h-05h and 15h -17h.
“THIÊN DI – THÂN ” (Movements): 05h-07h and
17h-19h
“TÀI
BẠCH – THÂN ” (Finance): 07h - 09h and 19h-21h
“PHU
THÊ – THÂN ” (Spouse). 09h-11h and 21h-23h
“THÂN”
represents the attachment of oneself with the particular Section, it also
represent the Social Status and the Physical Body.
