THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN “MỆNH” SECTION (FATE), “THÂN”
SECTION (BODY), HẠN (TERM)
What
is the difference between MỆNH, THÂN, HẠN?
Before
I was a bit mistaken regarding this matter, which is: even though it is easy
with some students, it is rather difficult with some others. Therefore, it is
best that we start this explanation with some Tu Vi Phú. ( “Phú” is dissertations put in rhythmic prose . They are usually written
in 2 clauses. The preceding clause contains meaning opposite with the ante. A
simple example: He smiles, but i cry.)
Phú is someone else’ concepts had been handed down to us.
On that basis, we deduce their meanings. Yet our deductions could easily lead
to misunderstanding. To understand correctly the meaning of Phu is not very
special; however, exhibiting misunderstanding (Kinh Duong) could bring lots of
misery to other people.
A
typical Phu about Menh, Than, Han :
“A
fine “Mệnh” is less than a fine Thân, a fine “Thân” is less than a fine term.”
(Term is the period of life, consisted Major term (10 years) and
Minor term (1 year) )
“ A
fine “Mệnh” , a fine “Thân”, and a fine term,
equal a happy life”
“ A
bad “Mệnh” , a bad “Thân”, and a bad term,
equal a miserable life”
Despite
a very good “Menh”, in case “Than” is weak, withered and at ill, carrying
sickness or have to use a wheelchair, do you think he/she could become
successful easily?
For
example: Thân (Body) encounters TRIỆT, THẤT SÁT, or ĐỊA KIẾP which could lead
to death, how can a person enjoy his/her the glory of the Term. Not to mention
Than becomes very poor, being used or abused by others such as a toy. In this case, the stronger will you have, the more
disappointments you shall receive.
What
is the “MỆNH”?
MỆNH
is a person’s will , ambition, viewpoint;
his/her ideology.
For
example:
*MỆNH
has TUẾ HỔ PHÙ Group meaning the person possesses a clear view-point, a strong
attitude
(Explanation
about TUẾ HỔ PHÙ Group: consists
of 3 stars: THÁI TUẾ, BẠCH HỔ & QUAN PHÙ. These 3 stars are always in Trine.
We say, MỆNH has TUẾ HỔ PHÙ Group, meanings MỆNH has one of 3 stars above. The remaining stars of the Group are in trine with MỆNH. It is the
same for other Groups)
*MỆNH
has TANG HƯ KHÁCH Group meaning the person socializes well, often very
courteous (TANG HƯ KHÁCH Group: TANG MÔN, THIÊN HƯ, ĐIẾU KHÁCH).
*MỆNH
has ĐÀO, HỐNG meanings the person enjoys merriment, boisterous endevours.
(ĐÀO HỒNG:
ĐÀO HOA + HỒNG LOAN).
*MỆNH
has CÔ QUẢ Group meanings the person could be self-seeking, egoistic..
(CÔ
QUẢ Group: CÔ THẦN, QUẢ TÚ)
Base
on the characteristics of MỆNH, combining with BÁC SỸ’s Constellation (This constellation
denoting the jobs) with 14 Major’s Stars - in fact are our Karma
we must shoulder. Fine Stars or Hindrance Stars are the results of our actions
To
make matter more clear, let me make an example:
TẤU
THƯ denotes the ability to write, at the same time, it denotes the promotion of
deeds. If TẤU THƯ combines with SÁT PHÁ THAM Group, it trends to explore, to resist.
If TẤU THƯ combines with TỬ VI, it trends to bear responsibility. If combines
with CỰ MÔN and THIÊN CƠ, it trends to constructing buildings, especially if
there is PHƯỢNG CÁC…
So
each person’s MỆNH has an obvious sense of purpose. Unconsciously, we are still heading to the right direction of our
Fate. MỆNH is our “soul”. Someone has bad MỆNH, but he/she has a good “THÂN”,
he/she is still well and happy. For example his/her parents are very rich…etc
What
is “THÂN”?
THÂN
is the Social Status and the Physical Body of a person. The most important
factor for Than is good health, to shoulder the “MỆNH”, as in an idiom once
said: “A strong body makes a strong mind”. Nobody fears a paralyzed person
attached to the sick bed, maybe only sympathy. A simple, healthy body is enough
a gift, together with a strong will is most fine. On the other hand, a person
with strong body, but without talent could become a….. security guard.
Nonetheless, that person is still well off working in close proximity with some
VIP. Even worse, he could become a laborer. Good factors gathering in Than
Section only bring the leisure to satiate the body. It couldn’t bring about the
glory to MỆNH. Temporarily you should accept “THÂN” is the Physical Body of a
person, further explanation shall follow in in-coming lessons.
What
is “ Term”?
The
term could be considered the 2nd
“MỆNH” Section and “THÂN” Section.
The
term is current situation which we are living in. The following example, could
consolidate this concept:
Above,
you know: MỆNH is a person’s will , ambition, viewpoint; his/her ideology.. THÂN is the Physical Body
of a person.
When
you’re a child. You have got an aptitude for music. Meaning Your “MỆNH” has
this trait. At the same time, unfortunately, you’ve cut yourself. This action
gave your hand a scar. Meaning Your “THÂN” (your body) represents this mark.
Therefore, when you grow up, you still have those traits. The meaning is at
present (Term) you have both MỆNH & THÂN. So Term has been compared like
the 2nd “MỆNH” section and
the 2nd “THÂN” section.
When
we read a Term for someone, we must include their MỆNH and their THÂN. In another word: we must
include the traits of MỆNH and the traits of THÂN into Term.
